Welcome to the Civil / Family / Probate Justice System .
You may conduct a search for documents based on various criteria
and view detailed information regarding any particular document.
Here is a brief explanation and examples for the fields that are available for entry:
- PARTY NAME
The name of the person or company that you are looking for. When entering a person's name, include
at least the first letter of their first name to avoid extensive search results from last name only entries.
Example: Lastname, Firstname
Example: ABC Vendor
- CASE TYPE
The different types of cases that are filed within the system. Click on the box and a pull
down menu will appear where you may scroll through the case types and select the exact one you would like to search for.
When viewing the search results, click on the numeric code given as CASE TYPE for the text translation.
- PARTY CODE
The different types of codes that may apply to party names within the system. Click on
the box and a pull down menu will appear where you may scroll through the codes and select the exact one you would like
to search for. When viewing the search results, click on the numeric code given as PARTY CODE for the text translation.
- FILING DATE RANGE
The date you want your search to look through.
Please enter the year as a 4-digit number.
Example: 1/1/2000
- CASE NUMBER (local)
Number assigned by the Miami-Dade Clerk's Office to the case. It's structure consists of the
year the case is filed, the sequence number, the Court jurisdiction and Court location. If you know the exact Case
Number that you are looking for, enter it here. In the public search you must enter the number in its entirety as
opposed to the search provided to subscribers.
- CASE NUMBER (state)
Number assigned according to Florida State Uniform Case Numbering System. It's structure
consists of the county number of where the case is filed, the year the case is filed, the Court jurisdiction, the
sequence number, and Court location. If you know the exact Case Number that you are looking for, enter it here. In the
public search you must enter the number in its entirety as opposed to the search provided to subscribers.

How to enable cookies on various browsers. |
- INTERNET EXPLORER
Start your browser and click TOOLS in the browser's menu bar to pull down the menu. Next, click
on the INTERNET OPTIONS selection and then click on the SECURITY tab in the following internet options window that will
open. On the lower half of the internet options window, there is a section named Security level for this zone. Click on
the CUSTOM LEVEL button to open the Security Settings window. Scroll down to the Cookies category under which you will
find a section "Allow per-session cookies (not stored)" and select the ENABLE radio button. If you feel more comfortable
knowing exactly what cookie activity occurs, you may select the PROMPT radio button to receive a warning every time cookie
activity is about to occur as well. Then click on the OK button to save your settings. Click OK once again to leave the
Internet Options window.
- NETSCAPE
Start your browser and click EDIT in the browser's menu bar to pull down the menu. Next, click
on the PREFERENCES... selection and then click on the ADVANCED category in the following Preferences window that will
open. On the right side of the preferences window, there is a section for cookies. Select one of the first two options
(Accept all cookies, or Accept only cookies that get sent back to the originating server.) If you feel more comfortable
knowing exactly what cookie activity occurs, you may select the optional checkbox underneath the cookies section to
receive a warning every time cookie activity is about to occur as well. Then click on the OK button to save
your settings.
- OPERA
Start your browser and click PREFERENCES in the browser's menu bar to pull down the menu. Next,
click on the ADVANCED selection in the pull down menu and the Advanced Preferences window will open. On the right half
of the Advanced Preferences window, there is a section named "Cookie Handling". In the first list box under the "Cookie
Handling" title, click on the down arrow on the right side of the list box to pull down its options. Click on
AUTOMATICALLY RECEIVE ALL COOKIES in the list box. If you feel more comfortable knowing exactly what cookie activity
occurs, you may select the DISPLAY RECEIVED COOKIES option instead to receive a warning and detailed explanation
every time cookie activity is about to occur as well. Then click on the OK button to save your settings.
