In addition, he directs the office's Procurement Management section in administrating the procurement of all goods and services required by the Clerk and his staff. By facilitating the provision of necessary resources and the training and development of the organization's employees, the Office of Human Resources and Administrative Services plays an important role in the Clerk's Office service to the public. The office has taken a leadership role in supporting the Clerk's overall plan to transition the Clerk's Office service functions to meet the demands of the 21st Century. A new section, Project Research and Development, was created to assist in the development of programs and enhancements that will improve the services provided by the office. In addition, the Office of Human Resources and Administrative Services is working closely with the operational areas to ensure the maintenance of a modern Clerk's Office workforce into the new millennium. Staff is presently working on a number of initiatives that will enhance the services provided by the Office of Human Resources and Administrative Services. These include the development of an intranet website that will deliver information as well as facilitate more expeditious task processing. New employee training and development programs are also planned. Home
