Harvey Ruvin - Clerk of the Courts - Miami-Dade County, Florida

Receiving a Jury Summons

When you receive a jury summons, you must log into E-JUROR and complete the questionnaire within seven (7) days of receiving the summons. Once you complete the questionnaire, you will see detailed information on what to expect during jury service. Please read this information carefully as it provides answers to almost every question about jury duty.

Once you have completed the questionnaire and reviewed the jury service information, you will receive reporting instructions and have the ability to request a postponement, excusal or disqualification from jury service.

You must bring the summons with you when reporting for jury duty as it contains your juror badge.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may log onto E-JUROR using your mobile device, access a computer at your local public library, or visit our jury office Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm, excluding holidays, to use one of our public kiosks.

If you need additional assistance, you may call our office at 786-828-5879, Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
