Certified Copies for Marriage License

By Internet:

After performing an Online search and viewing the image:

• You may order up to 9 Certificates of a Marriage License issued after November 1995 and pay online with a Visa or MasterCard. 
• Records of Marriage Licenses issued from 1971 to October 1995 are viewable online. Certificates are only available in person or by mail.
• Records of Marriage Licenses prior to 1971 are only available in person or by mail.

By Mail:

Please include the following with your request:

• Groom's name
• Bride's maiden name
• Date of the marriage
• Mail appropriate fee
  ($9 for one and $7 for each additional copy)
• If you do not know the year/case number,
  an additional search fee of $2 per year, per name will be added for every year searched.
• Self-addressed stamped envelope

In Person:

You must go to the Marriage License Bureau at:
Metro-Dade Flagler Building
140 W. Flagler Street, Suite 1503
Miami, Florida 33130

or any of the District Court Offices which provides Marriage License services.

Outside the United States:

International orders MUST be requested through e-mail or contact the Bureau of Vital Statistics.

Method of payments accepted:

• Cash (only in person)
• Cashier Check or Money Order;
  Payable to: Clerk of Courts;
• Visa, MasterCard or American Express
  (only in person or Internet); 
• No personal checks.
