Certified Criminal History Checks

Online:

In our continuing effort to better serve our customers (on-line, rather than in-line), the Clerk's Office has added a new feature to our online services that allows both attorneys and the public to request Certified Criminal History checks associated with Felony, Misdemeanor and/or Civil Infraction cases.  Online payment can be made with an American Express, Visa or MasterCard, twenty four hours a day, seven days a week.

The Criminal History Check (CHIS letter) can be requested at Criminal Justice and Civil Infraction Cases - Case Search (select Defendant tab).

By Mail

Please include the following with your request:

• Defendant's Name
• Case Number 
• Case Year
• Date of Birth
• Mail appropriate fee:
  Certified copies are $7, or if you do not know the year/case number, an additional search fee of $2 per year, per name will be added for every year searched.
• Self-addressed stamped envelope
