Receiving a Jury Summons

When you receive a jury summons, you must log into 
E-JUROR
 and complete the questionnaire by the date shown on the summons. 

Please note you are on standby for jury service during the week shown on your summons. You may have to report on any day that week. On the Friday before your start date you will receive an email with your reporting instructions. 

If you are called to serve, please be advised that we are taking all precautions for your safety as required by the Florida Supreme Court and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control including masks, social distancing, hand hygiene, and sanitizing workspaces.

Once you have completed the questionnaire and reviewed the jury service information, you will receive reporting instructions and have the ability to request a postponement, excusal or disqualification from jury service.

You must bring the summons with you when reporting for jury duty as it contains your juror badge.

If you do not have access to a computer, you may log onto 
E-JUROR
 using your mobile device, access a computer at your local public library, or you may call our office at 786-828-5879, Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.
