When you receive a jury summons, you must log into eJuror and complete the questionnaire by the date shown on the summons.

Please note you are on standby for jury service during the week shown on your summons. You may have to report on any day that week. On the Friday before your start date you will receive an email with your reporting instructions.

If you are called to serve, please be advised that we are taking all precautions for your safety as required by the Florida Supreme Court and recommended by the Centers for Disease Control including masks, social distancing, hand hygiene, and sanitizing workspaces.

Once you have completed the questionnaire and reviewed the jury service information, you will receive reporting instructions and have the ability to request a postponement, excusal or disqualification from jury service.

You must bring the summons with you when reporting for jury duty as it contains your juror badge. If you do not have access to a computer, you may log onto eJuror using your mobile device, access a computer at your local public library, or you may call our office at 786-828-5879, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

If you have lost or misplaced your jury summons, log into eJuror using your Florida driver license or identification card number and your date of birth. If you are still unable to log in, please confirm the summons was sent to you and not another member of your household or that you were not summoned for federal court. Call  the federal court jury office at 305-523-5190 if you believe you were summoned for federal court.

If you are a person with a disability who needs any accommodation in order to participate as a juror, you are entitled to certain assistance. Please contact the ADA coordinator at least seven days before your scheduled court appearance, or immediately upon receiving this notification if the time before the scheduled appearance is less than seven days. If you are hearing or voice impaired, call 711.
